The Congress brought together a wealth of agroforestry knowledge, offering participants the opportunity to share and exchange information and ideas in a range of formats, from informal conversations to posters; oral presentations to formal symposia. Overall the Congress provided a comprehensive snapshot of the current state of knowledge about agroforestry worldwide, and an overview of the expected future trends in agroforestry to deal with some of the most pressing global issues.
